Het Haringhuisje has existed since 1933 and is the oldest fish shop in Scheveningen. It all started with Grandpa de Jong, who had a herring cart. Fish ran in the family from early on. In 2002, Cees de Jong took over Het Haringhuisje. In 2013 we won the award for the best herring in The Hague, which earned us a place among the national herring elite.
Het Haringhuisje has a takeaway section and a seating area, decorated in the Scheveningen style!
